Partners Leanna Creel and Rinat Greenberg came to us for renaming and rebranding their existing company. They were shifting business models and turned to us to help them capture the essence of their new venture.
They wanted to convey that their work was not only about photography but about telling complete stories. They don't just shoot a subject, they bring it alive with compelling video. Their work for high end boutique hotels, restaurants and travel publications, was not only beautiful and dare we say "hip", it was also elegant and subtle. Our challenge was to capture that essence.
We all agreed on naming the company Creel Studio, which would easily encompass various disciplines and not box them in one specific space in the market. For her brand identity we wanted to use black and white, utilizing a bold, customized font, which not only speaks to elegant B+W photography, but is also an ideal juxtaposition of the abundance of color in their work.
